Objectives

• To recognize the great achievements of the members of the Association des expositions agricoles du Québec
• To stimulate innovative projects and new ways of making things in the network of the agricultural fairs
  

Principles

• Activity carried out for the first time at the fair (but can already exist elsewhere)
• Already existing activity, but which has been renewed for the 2009 edition
• A fair cannot win more than one price per year

Nominations

Nominations could be made by:

• Fairs manager
• Fairs partners (local or provincial)
• AEAQLes dirigeants de l’exposition

The Jury

Two (2) representatives of AEAQ

• A representative of the sponsors (optional)
• A MAPAQ representative
• A member of the the events area, external to the agricultural fairs (optional)

Criteria of selection

• Originality (news way of making things)
• Extent of the task for the organization and the realization of the activity
• Positive effects for the organization (benefits obtained by the activity in financial term, in visibility, in notoriety or other concrete results)
• Exportable project in other fairs (can be used as models for other organizations and easily transmissible)
• The jury's decision will be based strictly on the quality of the received nominations.
  
  

Promotional impacts

• Mention in front of others AEAQ members at the time of the fall banquet
• Sending of press releases with photographs to the regional media of each winner fair
• Text and photographs on the AEAQ’s website
• Text and photographs on the AEAQ’s promotional folder
• Objectifs atteints – effets positifs
